Write to Remember : Home Retreat

Daily: Monday 13 April to Friday 17 April @ 10.00 - 12.00

A 5-day course in creative memoir-writing, from the comfort of your own home, connecting with others within a supportive online environment.

We will cover different aspects of approaching life-writing including where to start, what to include/leave out and creative writing techniques to help your writing read well. No writing experience is necessary but a willingness to share is encouraged. Each day will bring a new writing exercise to focus writers on different aspects of the craft.  On the last day, we will share our writing and celebrate the wonderful and diverse experiences.

We will have a daily on-line meeting from 10.00 - 12.00 (with a wee break to make a cuppa). By writing every day for a week, good habits are made along with new friends and a sense of community. The following week, each participant will also receive an hour-long one-to-one to help them along the way, at a time convenient to them.


Method of delivery: 

Daily zoom meetings, and emailed writing exercises and class notes. One-to-one catch-up video meetings.
