Silver Jewellery Workshop - Jewellery in Action

In this workshop you will create your own silver pendant - allowing your creative juices to flow - with a focus on conceptual jewellery and humanitarian work as underlying themes. You will learn a range of different techniques such as piercing, filing shaping, finishing and polishing.

Discover how jewellery can be used as a positive force for social good. Layla Sawford will talk about her humanitarian work overseas and how this intertwines with her work as a jeweller and designer. In particular, Layla recently volunteered in India and will discuss how this trip, and her time in Greece, has heavily informed her own jewellery practice.

Please note: There will be a £20 charge for silver and materials, payable on the day.
