Letting your words out: creative writing workshop for women
Have you ever thought you might have a novel in you? Do you write stories or scribble poems in a little notebook? Do you secretly have conversations with fictional characters? You are not alone!
This 2 hour workshop is aimed at women who have always wanted to write but aren’t sure where to start. Expressing yourself creatively is an audacious act in itself! You may worry that you’re not good enough, or be afraid that other people will judge you. This workshop seeks to take the fear factor out of it, to challenge you to put your words on a paper in a supportive and encouraging way.
We will use creative words to explore issues that affect us all: things that are happening in our world, in our communities, in our families. You will be given time to develop your thoughts, to write and to share your writing with other participants.
No previous writing experience is necessary, but please remember to bring a pen and paper!
The workshop is free but please book here in advance.
NB this workshop is women-only.
